We had a meeting to go to for business in Corpus and I got this shot off of the balcony window. In the bottom of the picture is a replica of the "Santa Maria," I believe. The other two are located in Galveston ("Nina" and the "Pinta"). At the top of the picture is the skyline for Rockport.
I was driving down Savannah and this HUGE buzzard was eating on a dead squirrel in the middle of the road...YUK. I have never seen one up close before, so I pulled my car over and it walked across the street and I was able to get these pics.
Today, the Gary Glenn band played for our church festival right after playing at the Thirsty Horse Saloon last night and getting home at 4:00 AM! Notice how Clint is not with the guys...he is still hamming it up with Bruce Robison in Bandera this weekend.
My sons, Chase and Clint got to be on stage with the infamous, Bruce Robison, who is Clint's idol. He was THRILLED when Bruce jumped on stage during one of Clint's original songs and he put Clint's guitar strap back on his guitar. It was a FANTASTIC show!
This is Charlie Montague playing the mouth harp and if you haven't heard, he's a phenomenal singer and a heck of a nice guy! I just know he's going to go far in the music business some day soon.
I have a LARGE family and we get together several times a year including a Fall Festival with a barn dance, pumpkin carving contest and even face painting. Here is my cousin's daughter, Abigail, and my grand-niece, Kylie, painting my arms and making me "look pretty!" We had so much fun!
Chase's truck broke down at a VERY BAD interchange in downtown San Antonio and I had to pick him up. I took him to his venue in front of the Alamo and started snapping pictures of his truck through my rear view mirror while I waited on the tow truck.
