oh where is my water bottle
I lost my water bottle. I couldn't find it anywhere. Living with Erin there's not many places it could be. Finally, I found it in the back cushions of the couch....weird. I still haven't figured out how it got there.

So comfortable
I also have a thing for shoes and how the pants fall over the shoes. I don't own a lot of shoes. Before starting my internship, I asked for shoe recommendations. I ended up getting these Danskos. They aren't glamorous, but man they have become so comfortable. I have no problem walking around in them all day.

I love ice cream
Today we celebrated a dietitian's birthday today at work. An ice cream cake was made. To avoid looking weird, I tried to be sly in taking a picture of this cake. She used ice cream sandwiches to build the cake. It is so easy, and good!

Mmmm smells good

This is my Scensy warmer. I love that our house smells so nice these days. I have now learned not to use all six squares at one time, but only one or two :)

Until we meet again
I just reconnected with a sweet friend of mine from high school (yay Facebook). She is now moving to Missouri with her husband. Today was a going away party for her. Im glad I was able to stop by to wish them luck and send them off with love.

Walk this Way
I apparently have a thing for feet. Which is kinda funny because I have fingers for toes (maybe that's why I like them so much). Very functional.

Early

I'm not sure what wrong with my eye in this picture. Kinda swollen? Who knows. It reminds me of a time at Girl Scout camp when I was bit by misqutos on my eyelids and I woke up with my eyes swollen shut. I try to find that pic and post it becuase it's worth a good laugh.

Welcome Ethan Joseph

Well some of you are friends with Tina on Facebook and have seen this picture all ready, some of you have no idea who she is, but some of you may know her and not know Tina and Jeff welcomed EJ into the world today.

Way Behind

I'm way behind, but we'll see what we can do to change that. And now I have a question pertaining to dry cleaning clothes. On average, how many times do you wear a piece of clothing before getting it dry cleaned? I understand it depends on a lot of different things, but just on average.

I hope I find my way home
The weather was very nice today, so I decided to take a walk. There is some sense of freedom that comes from being in a new place. I just walked, with no purpose or direction. That is all well and good until it is time to head back home. Where's home again?

Leaving Home
I took this picture on my way back to Temple at the crossroads of 485 and 79. I must remember to leave earlier, or later, because the sun makes heading west at this time of day much more challenging.

Always use protection
I think this could be another "What is this picture." Brian and I both have our CHL. Today, we broke in our Christmas presents to one another, Glock 19s. I'm still warming up to the whole gun thing, but they are pretty fun to shoot. You say redneck, I say protected. And remember when practicing, always wear protection.

Pretty Kitty
I made a new friend! This is Erin's cat. She is very shy and was quiet unsure of me when I first arrived. After two weeks, we are the best of friends (shhh don't tell Snotty or Charli).

Oww Oww
You know you made it when you get to wear trouser socks to work. I understand they are basically knee highs, but man, I really like them.

beef jerky? Delicious. Flamin' Buffalo Chicken Nuggets? Amazing (but salty).
Don't go shopping when you are hungry. Well, don't go shopping at Super Walmart when you are hungry because you will have to wait in line for an hour staring at all the junk food. After a true internal struggle, I purchased this...
No not the Diet Therapy book, the dried chicken.

Oh Introduction Day
Long story short. This weekend we replaced our water heater. In the process, the valve on our outside gas meter broke/shattered, sending large amounts of natural gas into the area. I evacuated, on foot, with the animals while Brian and his dad waited for Atmos and the fire department to come. Thankfully, there were no explosions and no one was hurt or killed (hey, it could have happened). I told you this because it is my excuse for not having a self portrait for Introduction Day. I hadn't taken a shower since the Wednesday before due to no water at the house. Gross. Right right, long story short....
I am Anne. I am married to Brian and cousin to John. Amanda and I went to high school together, but became best of friends in college (especially when we suffered through management together) and beyond. I am truly thankful for her friendship and feel so blessed to have her in my life (seriously).
My excuse for poor quality pictures is they are all taken with my iPhone, but I know someone with true talent could do great things even with a cell phone. This one is extra special because it was taken in my car visor mirror before heading to work. Excellent.

Ah home sweet warm home
Well I'm back in Temple today. My parents were kind enough to donate an electric blanket to my cause. I am so very thankful because I was finding the chilly temperatures hard to handle at night. It's not much to look at, but it's my home away from home. This futon mattress and mattress pad on the floor is quiet comfy (and warm)!

Introduction Day
So Ben (my brother), Brian, and I got Jason and Leeann (my other brother and sister-in-law, parents to Easy E, Nathan, and Kelsey) a Wii for Christmas. We were over at their house tonight and the fun ensued. This requires two pictures (hey, I'm all ready breaking the "Introduction Day" rule). I hope everyone, even if you don't know my parents, finds the hilarity in these photos. Watch out everyone Lewis and Linda are Wii bowling!!

Dad has a mean starting pose. While Mom, ends with a great finish!! Believe it or not they are both quite good. My father, the physics professor thinks it's a simple kid's game and cannot understand why someone would have trouble. With a stance like that, who can argue with the man?

Sorry John...

So this was the only picture I took today. John and I talked about taking more of the festivities, and I promised I would not post this one. But I failed. I think it brings out some of the best in John. What do you think?
Notes:
1. That face with squinty eyes was on purpose.
2. He is not double fisting. One cup is mine. It's just water anyway.
