Cucumbers and tomato harvests

Besides work, my garden has kept me busy and full of cucumbers and tomatos-can't wait till the rest of the food is ready to harvest!

So I have been horrible this month at downloading pictures and posting them on here--I will blame the veggie garden and flower beds they are so needy!! Anyway here are a few of my favorite pictures I took this month. Hope to get to posting daily pictures in June!

April thus far has been a very busy month for me and I haven't had time to take or post pics daily--these are the pics I have captured for April so far:

Finally went to see a boradway show!! After some yummy thai food my friend and I saw Beauty and the Beast--Beautiful production!

Anna: The end of March

I haven't had my camera with me everyday like I usually do so I missed a few days. Here's what I got for the end of the month:

March 29: This is trogdor--one of our bearded dragons. I was cleaning out their tank this weekend and they got to roam the living room--he found my flip flops...


March 31: I was worried my tulips were never going to come up and that the squirrels made themselves a great meal out of them...I got home today and this is what I found and it made me so happy :)

Here is a picture from the 27th--went to a local restaurant (Brickstone) for pats "non" bday dinner with a few friends. Pat ordered the prime rib:



This is also what he had for lunch today (leftovers!)

Anna: March 23 &24

March 24: Pats birthday is today and this was his birthday cake-a chocolate cookie dough icecream cake YUM :)



March 23: Pat took an apple out for his lunch and when I looked in the bowl this is what I saw---A happy bowl of fruit :)

Anna: March 22--Meet Gordy

As I said before--we live in a zoo and eventually you will get a chance to meet all the critters that share our home.

This is one of our eight ferrets--Meet Gordy :)



We got Gordy a couple of years ago from the pet store--he was discounted due to his size--a young ferret but HUGE and nobody wanted him. After holding and playing with him we decided to take him home...as we were getting ready to do the paperwork he bit me and drew blood. The cashier freaked out and thought we would change our mind about him. Luckily the bite didn't bother me--with other ferrets at the house I was used to them.

Gordy loves the rest of the ferret family and his food--he can often be seen hogging the food bowl--luckily there are 4 other ones the rest of the ferrets share!

Anna: March 20 and 21

So this is what the first day of spring looked like in Chicago, looks like Spring took a vacation and left us snow! (3-20-10)



Made some jewelry with the girls last nightand took pictures this morning--found a new crafty addiction :) (3-21-10)

Wow I have been horrible this month in both taking and not posting a single picture this month! Have to remember to keep my camera with me and batteries charged--I was out a camera for a bit until I got a charger/rechargable batteries!! so here is what I have:

March 1 through March 7: (birthday card for my friend, yummy chicken sandwhich, nuetral baby shadow box for a friend)






March 8 through March 14:(red flower, clouds, battery charger, elephant in the sky








March 15 through today the 18th: (train on the tracks,clouds over farm land, tree, flower centerpiece I made for work)
