Jami - Day 21

The weather was spring like today. Which is a little disappointing in January but also a nice break for the cloudy rainy weather we have had in the past couple days. "Blue skies shinning on me. Nothing be blue skies is all I see....."

Jami - Day 20

My parents have this same swing. My dad built it for us and our new home - 5 years ago. We don’t get to use it as often as I would like but I love sitting outside and enjoying the weather. With the theme being home, this reminds me of my childhood home.

Jami - Day 19

The theme is home. These are my house shoes. We have tile and wood floors downstairs and they stay so cold during the day. I have to keep something on my feet.

(Okay so really I missed Day 19. I remembered during the day but hit the pillow before I took a picture. So I took 2 pictures on Day 20.)

Fiery Sunset. Who doesn’t love that? I took this from my back yard. The sunsets have been amazing lately.

This was my other by while antiquing. I can’t decide what to put in the other jar. Maybe they belong in another room. I’m still deciding.

Jami - Day 15

I went antique shopping today. This is something I love to do. I came home with a couple broaches/pins. And a few other things.

I’m beginning to see a trend in my pictures. I really like the lighting on my kitchen cabinet. Maybe I should try stretch myself a little more. But I’m loving this picture!

BUNCO! I play bunco once a month with a church group. Roll 3 sixes and get a bunco. I didn’t get even one...

These are my parents' cats. They are under 6 months old -I think. They just got this new huge play house. Oh and my mom is following us all on here. HI MOM!! She also thinks ya’ll are pretty good at this.

It’s only been 12 days. Anyone else feeling like they are running out of things to take pictures of? I was thinking of some ideas. i think the week of my birthday (in February) I’ll do all about me. - my favorite food, color, and hobby. Other ideas?

Jami - Day 11

Well you won’t get to meet Jay today but this is what he brought home to me. I guess no need for those fake flowers any more.

Jami - Day 10

Allow me to introduce myself. I know Amanda through my husband Jay (who you will meet tomorrow). They were in Percussion Studio together at A&M. So without giving the entire internet world too much information - I’m a runner. In fact, I ran a half marathon this morning. Go me! This is why you can’t see my face in the picture. I’m exhausted and I look it. If you want to see me, go back to the day 1 picture.

I’m trying to learn more about photography because I really enjoy finding that perfect picture. So far I have used the Olympus Stylus (point and shoot) for this project. My fancy camera is a Canon xTi. I’m still learning how to use it and this is good practice. I love food but I don’t love to cook. I’m more of a Baker. Jay and I love to travel and spend time with our family when we can. (Sounds like a personal ad - I like long walks on the beach too!)

Jami - Day 9

You already met my dog. This is my cat - Nickel. We call her Nicki. She is one of the softest cats ever.

These are the flowers that sit on my bathroom counter. I love flowers. (p.s. These aren’t real but they look like it.)

Jami - Day 7

I made banana bread today. I thought I would make it fancy by doing it in a bunt pan and placing it on my cake pedestal. I couldn’t wait to take a piece before I took the picture. It was still hot and oh so amazing!

Jami - Day 6

Normally I like to wait until the end of the day to choose my picture. But today is going to be a busy day - hence the cup of coffee. I wasn’t sure I would have time to take more than this. I take my coffee black unless it is the holidays and the peppermint mocha coffee creamer is in stores. How do you take your coffee?

Jami - Day 5

Driving home at 10 last night, I realized I didn’t take a picture that I liked for the day. I always carry my camera with me. So driving down I-10 I took this. Not so great but it was the best I could do at 70 mph. (legal disclaimer: Do not try this at home. - Sorry married to an attorney. More on him later.)

Jami - Day 4

I have a new obsession. Skin care and make up. I just started selling Mary Kay and I love it. This is my newest color palette.

Jami - Day 3

This is the best game in a long time. We have so much fun playing it and I’m not a gamer. But it takes me back to my childhood. Tonight we played with some friends and laughed so hard we cried. Then laughed because the other person was laughing. And then we laughed because someone (me) snorted from laughing so hard... I forgot why where were laughing but it has been a while since I laughed so hard I almost peed. Good times with good friends. Doesn’t get much better than that.
