I took this pic a few months ago (yes I know we're supposed to be posting current pics, but I found this one while scanning others and had to post it). This is part of the Venice canals in Venice Beach, CA. It's a large neighborhood built to resemble the canals of Italy. All the houses butt up to the man-made rivers. It's a very peaceful place to stroll on a sunny weekend.

Venice canals
