Colby and his classmates got to dress in cowboy hats, boots, and jeans. Then they participated in the preschool version of Field Day - eating a trail snack, trail riding on [stick] horses, roping haystacks, taking a hayride, playing tug-of-war, having sack races, making an Indian paintbrush [a type of flower for all you non-Texans], dancing a hoedown, racing [tricycle] horses, and finally, eating some corn-chip pies.

Here's Colby dancing in line to the hoedown. And the teachers were really sweet with Kennedy - she got to take part in the festivities too.
