If you ever want to win my favor or take me out to dinner somewhere special, PLEASE take me to Tesar's in the Woodlands. This has got to be my favorite place to eat in the ENTIRE state of Texas. In fact, I don't think I've had a better dining experience anywhere. No joke. In case you're thinking this restaurant sounds familiar, it is. It's the hamburger restaurant. I suggested it to my Aunt Connie and Uncle Cliff because they were coming into town today. First off, when I walked in, my previous waiter remembered me. He didn't just remember me, he remembered where I sat, what I ordered and what I was doing while I was there. Pretty insane and phenomenal at the same time considering it was six weeks ago. He was just a great a waiter as he was on the previous visit. The food was impeccable. Service was great. Then the owner came over and chatted with us. Then the OTHER owner came up and chatted too. Then they both came over. They were some of the nicest people I have met. THEN they brought the chef out (and by the way, I'm in love with him). It was just crazy good customer service. EVERYONE at that restaurant from the Chef (who got promoted from sous chef), to the owners, to our waiter LOVED what they were doing and by golly, it shows.

One SUPER cool thing about our visit was we got to try desserts and a drink that they were testing to put on the menu. I LOVE that they are being creative in their food and not just sticking to the same menu forever. They are always reinventing the menu and committed to using fresh ingredients. I will be writing a review for Yelp and Urbanspoon and wherever else I can think to post that I will update this post and give the link in case you're interested in the food too.

  1. Is that ice cream in an actual tray made of ice? or does it just look like it?
